All ordinary members are kindly requested to renew their membership subscriptions fee for the year 2012. We would like to inform all members that the mailing of AIM magazine from Puducherry will be via airmail (and not via seamail). As such subscription fee for AIM magazine has been revised from $20.00 to $25.00. The renewal fee therefore has been revised to $85 per annum. From the $85 subscription collected, $25 will be paid to Sri Aurobindo Society, Pondicherry for membership and subscription to the All India Magazine (AIM). Life members also will be required to pay $25 per annum for AIM. However, for the year 2012, the excess of $5.00 will be borne by the society and the revised fee structure will apply from Jan 2013 onwards. With effect from June 2012, the 1st Sunday’s evening programme, “Meditation with Savitri” – an Audio Visual experience will be shifted back by a day, to a Saturday slot, between 6 and 7pm.

As the first Sunday of each month is slotted for our Sunday walks in the morning followed by our evening sessions at centre from 6 to 7pm, members are often left with a choice between attending the walk and evening sessions because of their busy weekend schedules. In order make available both the walks and the evening sessions to all members, the Society has decided to open up a Saturday slot to accommodate the programme normally conducted on the 1st Sunday evenings, namely, “Meditation with Savitri” – an Audio Visual experience. It is hoped that more members will have the chance of bathing in the light of these meditations based on The Mother’s voice, Huta’s paintings and the serene meditation music as well as attend the walks on 1st Sunday mornings.

The centre will remain open on Sundays and the slot be filled with “Guided Meditations”, from 6-7pm.
